A GOVERNMENT initiative has been launched to enable visitors and Papua New Guineans to access information to address queries on the country.
The "GoPNG Portal" is a website hosting infrastructure designed by Macrotech that will be a gateway to dissemination of real time Government information and access to services.
Communication and Information Technology Minister Jimmy Miringtoro said that accurate information will be posted.
"We will correct and reflect true and accurate information to the people in our country, our neighbouring countries and the rest of the world.
"It will also promote and improve stakeholders’ contribution to national and community development, as well as deepen the governance process and exposure to the rest of the world."
In reiteration department Secretary Paulias Korni added that the portal will provide links to almost all government departments and agencies, to enhance the quality and availability of information. Post Coureir
