Nambawan Savings and Loans Society upgrades software system

NAMBAWAN Savings and Loans Society has undertaken a major software upgrade to improve the digital management and processing of data relating to members’ benefits.

The advance follows the signing of an agreement with Brisbane based Sterling Systems to install and implement the new system.

The software is a SALS/eFin cloud based savings and loans design integrating all relevant financials which will enable NSLS to achieve ambitious customer service targets and facilities.

NSLS said it wanted the best and most innovative software for their savings and Loans operation to be able to provide their members with world class services.

NSLS said Sterling Systems was impressed with the facilities of SALS which will not only enable them to serve their members quicker, but enable self-services through mobile and web applications as well the automated biometric identification services.

SALS/eFin is also used by the largest credit union in Fiji FPSCU.

"Demand from Nambawan Savings and Loans members has increased the volume of transactions over the last two years, and, hence, SALS/eFin would provide that capability to better service members with scalability to meet future growth," Nambawan Super CEO, Garry Tunstall said.

He added the new system capability will be fully deployed in the second half of 2016 to cater for its growing membership.
