CITIFON customers throughout the country will now have access to much more advanced and updated devices to communicate.Telikom PNG is currently running a Christmas promotion for Citifon users in Port Moresby, Lae and Kerema, equipping the customers with updated devices. Telikom PNG divisional manager Marketing and Business Development Victor Xavier said the promotion was basically to equip their customers with updated Telikom devices before migrating upgraded, standard and affordable modern technological products.
He said the company is doing SIM swap and phone swap for its products beginning this month and will end this week, and they are giving free Telikom simcards and Huawei touch screen phones to their customers to enjoy 4G network and make calls at an affordable rate. “We are following our footprints in PNG and targeting customers who are faithfully using our networks because the new network setup is underway and should be running soon.
“Technology is advancing, and being a company providing communication services, we must be updated always to offer newest technology benefits with better packages to data and voice customers. Mr Xavier said the capacity is to cater for increased customer demands and they want customers continue using their products and enjoy the network accessibility to prove that Telikom still remains committed to its customers and can offer similar services like the other two communication service providers.
He said this initiative of trading Telikom products will continue until stocks finish. Meanwhile, in Lae, the promotion is getting better each day as people turn up in numbers to do sim swap and phone swap as they want to receive an update network and at a cheaper cost.
