TELECOMMUNICATIONS provider bmobile-vodafone is boasting increased growth and coverage right throughout the country since July 2014.
It now claims to be one of the best mobile network operators in the country.
Speaking to the Post-Courier yesterday, group marketing manager Deepak Khanna said since their launch in 2014, their focus over the last two years was based on building their network after realising that without a strong one, they would not attract a sizeable customer base.
"Today by far we can be definitely proud that we’ve got the best networks in the country in terms of being in all the major cities and all the major towns and to cover 93 per cent of the country," he said.
Mr Khanna said their focus in building up the Highlands region network has been one of their success stories, with an increased customer base there from 2015.
He stated that they were next targeting the New Guinea Islands region.
"When looking at the growth, we are expecting more therefore we are rolling out expansion plans into the Islands region because that’s the next growth area that has been predicted and work is underway now," he revealed.
He also said the last six months have been great for them in terms of coverage and customers and they are hoping this will continue in the coming months.
"I can’t comment on the numbers right now, but all I can say is months and months we’ve seen tremendous growth happening and we’ve got more customers running to bmobile," he said.
Mr Khanna stated that they not only provide the best network but with quality range of handsets for their customers.
He said Vodafone buys 65 new sets of handsets every month and that gives them leverage to buy more, including alcatel, ZTEs, Vodafone brands and since they are also the resellers of the Apple brand, this has given them extra credit for their customers.
