DIGICEL has launched a new voice call service which will provide customers free voice-minutes at night.
Chief executive officer Maurice McCarthy said the new product was based on customers outgoing voice minutes accumulated during the day. Prepaid subscribers who make calls between 7am and 8.59pm will be rewarded with free voice call minutes between 9pm and 6.59am.
McCarthy said Digicel had taken steps to listen to customers, understand their needs and take action to improve the customer experience.
“Digicel is excited to launch the promotion across the country and look towards ensuring that customers are getting the best value from Digicel,” he said.
“Customers who talk more on their mobile phones during the day would be offered more free call minutes at night.
“Just talk for 10 minutes or more throughout the day and you will receive 100 minutes free from 9pm.”
The Use and Get More promotion will be rolled out across the country until the end of July. It is to phase out the 100 minutes free nights call service nationwide.
While the 100 minutes free nights call service was available only to those who topped up their phone credits with K5 or more, the new Use and Get More promotion is available to all our prepaid customers.
“Connecting our customers matter to us and as part of our commitment, Digicel will continue to provide competitive and valuable promotions to consumers throughout the year,” McCarthy said.
