World Vision currently has a vacancy for mSupply Information Communication Technology (ICT) Officer with the TB/HIV Project based in Port Moresby, NCD, Papua New Guinea .
Under the TB/HIV and Resilient & Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH), NDOH is working in partnership with DFAT and World Vision PNG as the Principal Recipient to improve PSCM of the country by supporting mSupply roll-out.
The Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management (PSCM) plays a vital role in the overall health system of the country, in ensuring that quality medicines are being procured in the right quantity, at a right time, is of quality assured and at an affordable price.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the mSupply team and NDOH in the implementation of the mSupply roll-out, which includes overseeing the ICT operational aspect of mSupply during and after installations, ensuring that targets and deliverables are met. It is vital that the applicant has good knowledge of logistics management information systems (LMIS) of pharmaceuticals or others.

Roles & Responsibilities;
- Involve and participate in the installation of mSupply
- Conduct pre-assessment at proposed sites; Ensure software are installed and operating successfully; Monitor and trouble shoot ICT issues raised by sites; ensure router and server configurations during installation.
- Provide monthly reports on site functionality and utilisation to mSupply supervisor.
- Update and filing of documents.
- Liaise with the following; NDOH ICT Manager or staff to ensure viable and continuous internet connectivity in place at all sites; NDOH and stakeholders for maintenance of ICT equipment and replenishment of consumables; World Vision office for administrative and financial support to implement activities.
- Participate and provide technical support with Admin for procurement of hardware, software and consumables required for installation and maintenance.
- Provide daily monitoring of site functionality.
- Ensure site connectivity is maintained with sufficient data bundle .
- Report or update stake holder of challenges identified and recommend sound solutions.
- Assist mSupply supervisor in organising meeting, capacity-buildings, evaluation and other activities.
- Diploma or Degree in IT of ICT background is preferred.
- Competent and experienced with PC hardware and OS (Win 10) configuration including creation and deployment of installation media.
- Competent and experienced in internet security including particular router configuration to filter out unwanted use and/or allow acceptable use.
- Competent and experienced with LAN design and installation including particularly provisions for power security.
- Sound knowledge on network infrastructure design and management, including alternate methods of internet connectivity. (eg. Cellular, UHF, radio, etc)
- Team Player with excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
