Did we just hear digital Economy for Papua New Guinea? So the   PNG Digital Commerce Association will help the Papua New Guinea Government develop the digital economy, that's according to the  president Isikeli Taureka.

“We want to bring them together to share best practices and help the Government shape policies for the digital economy,” Taureka said.
The association will urge the Government to develop a digital economy road map over the next four years so that businesses will have a clear view of how to develop infrastructure, train workforce and create opportunities.
The association was launched on Tuesday by Information Technology and Communication, Energy Minister Sam Basil and Bank of PNG governor Loi Bakani at The Stanley Hotel and Suites in Port Moresby.
The founding members of the association are Bank of PNG and Denton’s Lawyers.
