Papua New Guinea Leading information and communications technology (ICT) company Datec (PNG) Ltd held a technology forum in Port Moresby recently.
Datec, which has been partnering with the world’s leading ICT brands to provide tailored innovative solutions, organised the technology forum for its long-time business partner Oracle.
Oracle chief executive Stanley Kyle told business partners and clients that partnership between Datec and Oracle had been going from strength to strength for over 20 years.
“We have a good business record of providing ICT services to our customers in PNG,” Kyle said.
“Over the years, Oracle and Datec, have working closely with many customers to provide ICT products and services in PNG.”
Datec’s manager for software development, Kishor Shinha, welcomed Oracle to PNG for the launch of the Oracle Cloud.

Oracle Cloud provides infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, software as a service, and data as a service. These services are used to build, deploy, integrate, and extend applications in the cloud.
“It is important for saving data, for protecting data and for retrieval within minutes once lost,” said Jing Tian, the senior sale manager New Zealand and the Pacific.
