Currently Anitua is seeking for a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of:IT NETWORK AND SYSTEMS SUPPORT
The role is to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT support systems by providing timely and efficient IT support services to internal employees & external 3rd party clients. The IT support incumbent will provide assistance to and take direction from the IT|IS Lead.
The responsibilities of the job include:
- Maintenance of computer systems.
- Updates
- Ensuring standards of IT charter
- Quick response to issues raised by Anitua employees.
- Support IT lead.
- Liaise with suppliers and support agents
- Network communications and PC trouble shooting techniques
- Trouble shooting QuickBooks
- Trouble shooting Fleetmex
- Setting up new workstations as required and prior to commencement of new employees
- Display an awareness for safety, environmental and quality issues relating to IT
- Diploma in IT/Communication or equivalent
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver quality outcomes
- Five years minimum work experience in IT/Communications, particularly in the maintenance of IT systems and hardware
- Lan/Wan network environment (Exposure to Juniper switches is a bonus but not essential)
- Windows Server 2008R2 / 2012 R2 / 2016 Exposure
- Windows 7 & Windows 10 knowledge
- Virtualization experience (Hyper-V or VMWare)
- Experience in Active Directory user creation & administration
- Physically capable of performing duties required
- Willingness to work additional hours as required
- Full PNG Driving License
