Last time, I showed you How to Enable Hyper-V on your Windows 10 Pro. It is a step by step guide that will guide you to enable the most underrated feature of Windows 10 system, if you did not tried it yet then I’ll recommend you read it here first as you need to enable this feature before moving on .
Assuming that you followed that article, lets get started.
Note: I’ll be using windows Server 2012 Hyper V, the interface should be similar with windows 10.
1. Open Hyper-V Manager.
2. Create New Virtual Machine
3. Most of the time, we will just follow the recommended configuration.
4. Just leave all to default setting, except if you are going to need more memory and virtual drive space, feel free to modify the sizes. For the sake of demonstration, I’ll modify the size of Memory to 4GB (assuming you have enough available memory, if you don’t have 512mb will do), and the VHD to 30 GB.
