A man was apprehended by Lae's SRU 102 unit as he was escaping after snatching a mobile phone off a young lady in front of Lae International School gate .
SRU 102 on routine patrol within their designated zone, saw the distressed woman and gave chase and apprehended the suspect at Maiba Kona.
The phone was recovered and suspect arrested.
This person is a regular with petty crimes and a known street vendor .
