Papua New Guinea Minister for National Planning and Monitoring Sam Basil has called on the PNG  government to have clear policies to contain Cyber Crime issues in the country.

Mr Basil said this with an assumption that no network is safe and to ensure that the country’s critical infrastructure is protected, National Information Communication Technology Authority (NICTA) must embark on major cyber-security policies.

Minister Basil was speaking during the official opening of NICTA’s new office complex and its road map in Port Moresby last Friday.
