PNG Department of National Planning and Monitoring pays Nearly K300,000 for Website design

A long awaited plan to have a vibrant and interactive website for the Department is now at the doorstep, with the signing of a Service Contract with PureMath Solutions done yesterday at the DNPM Secretary's Conference Room.

Witnessed by Senior Management Committee Members of the Department, Secretary Koney Samuel signed the Contract for the development, hosting and maintenance of a cloud enabled website with Ms. Passana Koti, the Managing Director of PureMath.

An elated Mr. Samuel expressed his joy in finally seeing progress towards the development of an integrated and interactive website that is able to support the visibility of the Department, as well as provide the platform for databases, IMS and interaction and communication with stakeholders who must be kept informed at all times. The DNPM has been without a Website for over 4 years, hence this particular investment will boost the Departments image and status as a Central Agency.

The path to the signing of the Contract took over 5 months through a comprehensive tendering, bidding, assessment and evaluation process with the final outcome of PureMath as the successful company. PureMath's website solution was assessed to be superior in terms of technology and future proofing the value of core attributes, is flexible, and has a seemless integration and performance that can work well with the Goverments IFMS and the DNPMs Public Investment Program process.

Mr. Samuel expressed his interest in working with PureMath into the future considering the positive collaborations and high regard of the company who has previously worked with other line Departments of Government in such investments as well.

The total value of the Contract is K297,000.00 which will enable completion of the Website product within a month, including training, hosting and maintenance support for 12 months.
