Telikom PNG launches satellite service

 Papua New Guinea's Telecommunication company TELIKOM PNG  Ltd recently launched the Kacific VSAT (very small aperture terminal) into the market in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands.


Telikom said the company launched a product to make communication affordable in line with the Government’s 2050 Vision on ensuring telecommunication services reached all parts of the country.

“This satellite service is an ideal communication solution for communities, business, hospitals, schools and even homes where fixed network presence is not available or can be used as a backup to your primary link. With the Ka-Band Satellite, Telikom Ltd is offering both voice and internet services with Telikom TV to be introduced to the existing and new satellite customers soon,” Telikom said.
