The Information Technology Services (ITS) team is responsible for the University’s core ICT infrastructure, systems and services, and is looking to increase its capability to deliver an extensive programme of work that drives efficiency, is innovative and leverages emerging technologies, reduces risk, and supports future growth.
Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Our ICT Support Consultants are the local ‘go-to’ team who provide onsite support
for a range of ICT related services including:
- Desktop ICT support services to staff and students;
- ICT procurement and disposal management;
- ICT support for infrastructure and research initiatives; and
- Audio/visual services and teaching room support.
- Oversee the successful on and off-boarding of staff in our ICT environment

To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrated ability to communicate and pass on knowledge both in person and in writing. Experience with technical writing is an advantage, along with a calm and professional demeanour and a strong focus on providing a great support experience to our staff and students.
