Internet Outage Affects Papua New Guinea: DataCo Responds

DataCo, Papua New Guinea's primary telecommunications provider, is currently addressing a significant network outage that has disrupted its transmission network and equipment. The outage has primarily impacted customers in Lae and the Highlands Region.



A team of DataCo's network engineers and technicians is working around the clock to repair the network and restore services as swiftly as possible. The company has emphasized its commitment to resuming normal operations promptly, acknowledging the critical importance of connectivity for its customers.

In an official statement, DataCo extended its deepest apologies for the inconvenience caused to its valued customers and the general public. The company assured that it is taking all necessary steps to minimize disruption and expects a full recovery shortly.
