WE ARE HIRING: DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
FinCorp is seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise databases that support our core business systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for database environments, ensuring stability and performance across core business systems.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, maintaining high levels of data security, integrity, and availability.
- Proactively monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Support database-related aspects of system updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with the Data Strategy team on data-driven initiatives, reporting, and governance.
- Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, schemas, and procedures.
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines to support business reporting and analytics.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Database Management Systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery practices.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS.
- Understanding of SQL databases, system integration, and API management.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles, especially incident and change management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
