Telikom PNG Services Outage Notice

Telikom PNG would like to advise its valued clients and customers of a technical glitch at its Ela Beach exchange that disrupted services throughout the country.

Engineers are on site at the Ela Beach and Boroko exchanges to restore services and by midday today services were slowly
being restored to some areas with mobile, voice and data to services to some parts of Port Moresby; other centres are yet to come online.

Telikom PNG Group General Manager Engineering & Network services – Moses Tedumo, confirmed service disruption where there were technical issues in the access network that was picking up abnormal high volume of traffic that affected mobile and fixed line services.

Mr Tedumo reassures valued clients and customers that Telikom engineers are attending to the fault to restore all services as soon as possible and are also working on establishing the
root cause of the fault to prevent future occurrences.
