ICT Manager - Enga Health Authority

Enga Provincial Health Authority is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced candidates from both within and outside the Public Service to fill in this vacancy under the newly established Enga Provincial Health Authority.

Job Description:
EPHA CS 124 Manager ICT

Enga Provincial Health Authority was established under the Provincial Health Authorities Act of 2007 in view of seeing effective and efficient health care service delivery to the bulk of the population that has been lacking in the province for many years under the old dual Health Management System.

This managerial position is a contract position and attracts standard contractual benefits, which will also be paid apart from the base salary in line with the Senior Officers’ Contract in the Public Service in their respective contract of employment category.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience

Possess a relevant Degree from a recognized University or Diploma or possession of any other relevant qualifications in recognized institutions in line with the job descriptions.
Should have at least over 5 years’ experience at  the  Management  level, particularly with the GoPNG, primarily the Public Health and the Provincial Hospitals.
Sound Knowledge of the operations of the Provincial Hospital, the Health Authority Act 2007 including the PSMA, PFMA& other enabling Acts.
Be able to communicate well at all level of authorities and community at large with negotiation and problem solving skills.
Possess very strong leadership and supervisory skills whereby the expected performance improvements outcome is delivered to the Director responsible and authorities concerned as and when required.
Be prepared to work overtime regularly to meet the deadlines and as well for the smooth operations of the section.
Supervise and visit all Health Facilities in the Province as and where required.
Should have an exceptional work performance record in the preceding years, a competent and a committed person.
Must display total honesty and also lead by example both within and outside of the work environment.
Must be computer literate
Must be registered with the relevant associations of PNG for the clinical positions and as well for some of the positions within the Corporate Services.
Must have no previous criminal records
