How to Stop or Remove Auto Renewal payment in Weebly site

 If you are using weebly site builder  for your website and you have paid for certain subscription plan, weebly will continue to renew your subscription before it expires. This means, weebly gets money from your credit card account through the auto payment configuration set in your weebly account. Sometimes you will see money depletion in your bank account as money is being removed by Weebly.  Weebly does this to maintain your subscription and keep your website running. 

If you do not want to have auto payment active in your weebly account or if you are ending your subscription in weebly site for good, you need to remove the autopayment configured in your weebly account. 

You can follow the following steps to stop autopayment in Weebly

  1. Go to www.weebly.com
  2. Click login and enter your username and password.
  3. Under your Account Editor, click on the website name on the top right to produce the drop down menu and click on Account Settings.

  4. Under Accounts, go to Payment Methods tab. You should be able to see your credit card listed there. Click on the red hypen(-) to delete your credit card configuration.

 Note that, if you remove the auto payment, weebly will stop your subscription when it expires. It is proper that you maintain your auto subscription. 

The following will happen if  you remove the auto renewal payment.
  • Auto renewal of domains configured through weebly will cease after the expiry date elapse.
  • Auto renewal of  SiteFeautres like starter, basic, pro and business Plans will end if not renewed manually before the expiry date.
  • Auto renewal of  eComerce Plans will End ill end if not renewed manually before the expiry date.
  • Auto renewal of  Marketing plans including email subscriptions  will end ill end if not renewed manually before the expiry date.
