PNG Air has today launched a Tok Pisin option for the airline’s website www.pngair.com.pg.
PNG Air’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Abbot said as part of PNG Air’s rebranding strategy, the airline believed it was critical to reflect its PNG ownership and focus on the pride of being part of the country. He said this can be seen in the aircraft design, the new uniforms and now in a proudly PNG website.
“People can now choose to view Tok Pisin or English versions of the website content. For overseas people, the site will give a small taste of PNG and for local people having this choice will make the website more accessible and useful for them as they plan business trips or journeys to connect with family and friends,” Mr Abbot said.
