Digicel has launched a major upgrade of its data plans purchase menu for prepaid subscribers, making it quicker and simpler for customers to buy plans, with more choice.
The company this week launched a new set of data plans accessed via the *777# USSD menu.
The new plan sizes range from 60MBs to 13GBs, with users able to choose how much data they need and then how long they want the data for, either one, seven or 30-day passes.
Digicel customers will also be given the option to choose whether they want their plans to renew automatically.
Digicel managing director, mobile, Shivan Bhargava, said the process of selecting data plans are now so much simpler, allowing customers to purchase a data plan, check or top up their balance or renew their plan.
“The *777# menu is very easy to navigate and prompts the customer to first choose how much data they want and then how long they want to access the data for,” Bhargava said.
“We want to make it simpler and easier for our customers, whilst providing them with more choice.
“There are no more key words for customers to remember. They simply come to one place for all pre-paid data options and follow a very flexible and interactive set of menus.”
